Launch of a flocculant chemical dissolution system
We just launched a new polymer chemical dissolution system, for the needs of a water treatment station. The system utilizes its 300l of capacity to dissolve powdered flocculants, working as an insertion system. Dosage of polyelectrolyte flocculants, used for water and sewage treatment, requires initial dissolution of the preparation in water. The preparations are used for merging suspension particles, increasing the speed of sedimentation and improving the efficiency of sediment dehydration, or even improving filtration process efficiency.
Polyelectrolytes are various organic polymers, varying in chain length and electric charge. The most frequently used are polyelectrolytes in the form of oil emulsions or powders. Most polymers are required to be mixed and allowed to develop polymer chains for a duration of time before their use, to achieve maximum preparation effectiveness. Devices offered by MCC allow for automatization of the polyelectrolyte dissolution and dosing processses.
