  • Chlorinators

Dosage of substances for the sake of drinking water disinfection has particular technical requirements. The dosing unit must provide precise dosage, in such a way that the level of dissolved solution is stable. Too low of a dose will not provide the appropriate biocidal effect, too high will pose a risk to the health of consumers. In the waterworks industry, the most common solution is sodium hypochlorite, a preparation that has the tendency to gas itself, which can lead to air getting into the dosing pump’s head and stopping the dosage process. MCC offers a wide range of chlorinators, from economic devices based on the DDE series pumps to more advanced devices, allowing for Ethernet-based digital communication.
