Chlorine dioxide generators

Chlorine dioxide generators

Oxiperm chlorine dioxide generators are devices which produce a thinned solution of chlorine dioxide from hydrochloric acid (HCL, 9%) and sodium chlorine (NaClO2, 7.5%). The solution is dosed on a constant basis to the disinfected water. In our offer you will find chlorine dioxide generators from Grundfos, Oxiperm Pro.

Description

Chlorine dioxide has a higher oxidization potential than chlorine, thanks to which it has an oxidizing, rather than a chlorinating effect on many reduced substances (including organic ones). It is used instead of chlorine for water disinfection, mainly to reduce the amount of organic chlorine compounds created during chlorination. The Oxiperm generator is a device which system is built into a plastic frame. The device is suitable for usage mounted on a wall or placed on the floor.

Generators consist of:

  • tanks for chemicals:

    • for OCD-162-5, -10 models – tanks placed in collection basins placed directly under the system.
    • for OCD-162-30, -60 models – separate basins for each tank by the system.
  • suction probes – permanently connected to their respective dosage pumps.
  • suction probe cables- used for transmitting low-level or empty tank signals to the control system.

The device can be used for three different purposes:

  • disinfection of drinking water in a pipe system.
  • disinfection in industrial installations.
  • shock disinfection.

Available efficiencies:

  • 5 – 5 g/h
  • 10 – 10g/h
  • 30 – 30g/h
  • 60 – 230 V: 60g/h, 115 V: 55g/h
