Grundfos DDA Pumps

Grundfos DDA Pumps

Compact, membrane-based dosing pumps, with a stepper motor that allows for speed regulation and an electronic control system that provides minimal energy consumption.

Description

As an official Grundfos distributor, we offer a wide range of membrane-based dosing pumps with a stepper motor.

These pumps are characterized by their high endurance, thanks to the implementation of teflon membranes. They possess an universal an universal mounting plate, thanks to which the pump can easily be  mounted in any place (including on walls or storage tanks).
The typeseries features a full jump duration, to provide optimal accuracy of submerging and suction even in cases of fluids with high viscousity or ones with a degassing effect. The duration of each jump varies in accordance with the set efficiency, which provides an easy and steady flow.
The latch based mounting plate allows the pump to be mounted in three different positions. The control cube can be placed in front, on the right or on the left side. The button knob and a multicolor LC graphic display allow for an intuitive setup and use.

Details

Dosing head consisting of:
• durable PTFE membrane,
• twin ball valves, providing the highest degree of accuracy,
• degassing valve for ease of startup,

Modes of operation:
• Manual in ml/h, I/h or gph.
• Impulse in ml/impulse (with a memory function).
• Analog 0/4-20 mA (scalable).
• Impulse based dose control, in ml, l lub gal.
• Timer based dose control (Transmitter time-based, cyclic or weekly).
• Fieldbus DP control (Genibus suited for Profibus E-box).
Other parameters
• Automatically degassing the pump during watch mode, preventing the pump from becoming airlocked.
• Slowmode function, for anticavitation: 50% (maximum flow speed: 3.75 l/h) and 25 % (maximum flow speed:1.88 l/h), for example for high viscuosity or with degassing qualities.
• Service information display.
• Button lock function
• Additional display info (such as the current input signal in mA)
• Erasable counters of total dosed amount, hours of operation, etc.
• Saving and loading user settings, reloading factory settings
Signal inputs/outputs:
• Impulse input, analog 0/4-20 mA, external shutdown switch
• Low level or empty tank input
• Two zero potential transmitter outputs, for a max. of 30 V AC/DC (configurable alarm, jump signal, pump dose, timer transmitter etc.)
• Analog output 0/4-20 mA.
• Fieldbus (Genibus, Profibus DP E-box also available for installation).

Purchase and installation

Installation:
Environment temperature range: 0 .. 45 °C

DDA pumps may be purchased alongside an installation set, consisting of: 2 dosing head connectors, a foot valve, dosing armature, PE dosing duct– 6 m , PVC suction duct– 2 m, PVC deairing duct- 2m. The materials and sizes are selected to fit the material construction of the pump.

The dosing sets can additionally be equipped with:
• multipurpose valves – installed directly on the piston side of the pump. Upper connection to the piston duct, side connection returns excess fluid back to the tank. These valves allow for deairing the pump and emptying the piston duct.
• suction lances- with or without a level sensor,
• hand mixing tool, beater type,
• water meter with encoder,
• PE tank with capacity: 60l, 100l, 200l.
