Filtering through mineral beds is one of the most basic methods of removing suspensions from fluids. Together with oxidation processes, it’s also a basic method of removing iron and manganese. MCC offers a wide range of water filtration devices.

Depending on the kind of removed impurities, different kinds of filter beds are used. Our specialty are zeolite-based beds. Such beds are characterised by their well-developed grain surface, which makes them very efficient at removing small sized impurities, and its low weight allows them to be quickly rinsed away.

Effectively, filters which use such beds consume less water for rinsing and provide a better filtrate quality in comparison to the standard sand based beds. Besides mineral beds, other filtration materials can also be utilized, such antracite beds or active coal used in the processes of dechlorination or impurity adsorption.
